Chesham Agapanthus and Fuchsia Festival

Agapanthus and Fuchsia - two of the most beautiful plant genera on the planet. And now we are bringing them together in a unique event in Chesham on 17 July. It's free to attend and there will be plenty for all the family to enjoy, including:

  • An entertaining Agapanthus talk about the origins of this "flower of love" and a demonstration where we give away our trade secrets in how to care for your agapanthus plants, how to propagate them and how to ensure they remain it tip-top flowering condition for years to come. (This talk and demonstration will start at 11am)

  • Planting Workshop - chance for you to get your hands in the compost and create beautiful hanging baskets and patio planters to beautify your garden way beyond summer. (Workshop starts at 1pm)

  • Colouring and drawing competition for children

  • Wide variety of exquisite specimen agapanthus and fuchsia plants for sale all at competitive prices, including some unusual and rare hybrids.

  • Lots of other perennials and other garden-ready plants for sale, along with accessories.

  • Free local delivery so you don't have to carry heavy plants away.

  • You can pay by Visa, Mastercard and American Express, or by cash for any items you may buy.

  • EVERY PENNY OF WHAT WE MAKE IS USED TO TRANSFORM LIVES, supporting vulnerable children in South Africa's oldest undeveloped township, and the work of St Mary's Church Chesham.

The Chesham Agapanthus and Fuchsia Festival will start at 10am and finish at 2.30pm on 17 July at the St Mary's Church Rooms Lawn (opposite the Rectory), Church Street, Chesham, HP5 1HY. No booking is required.
